Acceptable use policy.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited on Unlevered. Its goal is simple: keep the Service safe, lawful, and reliable for tax professionals and their clients.
Prohibited use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Generate, knowingly transmit, or store content you don’t have the right to share.
- Submit false, fraudulent, or materially misleading information into a study (inflated basis, fabricated photographs, etc.).
- Impersonate another person or firm, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without our explicit written permission (see responsible disclosure).
- Attempt to bypass authentication, RLS policies, or rate limits.
- Reverse-engineer or scrape Service code, model weights, or proprietary classification logic.
- Interfere with other firms’ use of the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
Engineer review & defensibility
Studies you deliver represent the work of your firm. Submitting deliberately misclassified components or refusing to incorporate engineer feedback while still delivering the study constitutes a material AUP violation.
Account integrity
Each CPA seat is for a named individual. Sharing credentials between humans is prohibited. Firm admin tools exist for granting and revoking seat access — use them.
Reporting violations
If you observe AUP violations, email abuse@unlevered.io. We respond within one business day.
Consequences
Violations may result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, or termination. Severe violations may be reported to the appropriate state board of accountancy, the IRS, or law enforcement.
